Closing Conference

On the 8th of April of 2022, the Portuguese Team held the Closing Conference at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, with online transmission via Youtube. The Conference focused on several Mental Health-related themes, namely Resilience, Social and Emotional Skills in the School and Family context and the pandemic impact.
The Conference had the presence of the President of the Faculty of Human Kinetics, Professor Luís Bettencourt Sardinha; the Education Councilor of Oeiras City Council, Professor Pedro Patacho; the Education Councilor of Almada City Council, Teodolinda Silveira; a member of the Wellness Observatory of Viseu City Council, Dr. Amália Cussecala; International PROMEHS Coordinator, Professor Ilaria Grazzani; the Coordinator of PROMEHS Portuguese Team, Professor Celeste Simões; Director of Gulbenkian Programme for Knowledge, Dr. Pedro Cunha; PROMEHS Portuguese team researcher, Margarida Santos; the coordinator of the Government task force of behavioural sciences, and researcher, Professor Margarida Gaspar de Matos; the teacher and coordinator of the Teachers Training Center of the City of Almada (Almada Forma), José Diogo; and the poet Alice Neto de Sousa.
The results of PROMEHS at a National level were presented. In addition, PROMEHS participants, principals, teachers, psychologists, students, and parents participated in two round tables to share their feedback about PROMEHS and its impact and importance. ​ 
The Conference had more than 400 inscriptions with more than 1000 views in the first days after the event.

September 2020 - PROMEHS Online Opening Conference - PORTUGAL


On September 10th, the Portuguese National Team held an Online Opening Conference for the PROMEHS Project. The Conference focused on the themes of Mental Health, Resilience, Social and Emotional Skills and its connection with the School and Family Contexts, as well as the presentation of the PROMEHS Project.


The Conference was moderated by the journalist, José Gabriel Quaresma, and the presentations and speakers were:
